* 3rd picture - oxidises a lot, thought it was perfect match until I tried to wear it for a while. And I'm still confused if I'm cold or neutral in undertone, but currently I'm leaning more towards neutral (foundations at least) because according to 'tests' for undertone and in-shop consultations I get 'cold' but majority of cold shades are just too pink for me/makeup looks visibly different from rest of skin.ġ - Mac Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation - NC10Ģ - Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation - 1N0 Porcelain Even if it was expensive, at least there would be an option.Īdded some swatches (finger - 1 swipe) in case anyone will find it useful as I struggled to find swatches for these on same pale skin, I originally used MAC NC10 foundations and NW15 concealer for years, but decided to start trying new things but finding shades for my pale skin is annoyingly hard. With so much makeup competition out there it's about time someone created makeup brand where you can get custom perfect shades. But luckily chantilly soft matte one is tinny bit darker than creamy concealer and if used in moderation and blended out actually works pretty well After some more guessing I decided I'll get soft matte in 'chantilly' and will see how it works, if not so well I'll start getting more shades or mixers and look for a way to mix them to get something that works □ because Nars soft matte just worked so well for minimal makeup I could not let it go. And I had 'chantilly' creamy concealer, which was too light. I was especially considering doing it with Nars soft matte (I fell in love with it for minimal makeup look, just to conceal/no foundation), it does not sell locally so I spent hours guessing and looking for swatches to see which shade would work and decided to try 'vanilla' which was nice for undereyes but too pink for rest of face, especially when compared to neck (face has some coolness to it but neck is nowhere near cool). Did you notice any difference in the wear throughout the day after using foundation mixers? What mixers do you use? Have you tried them from different brands? I heard about foundation mixers just not too long ago and started considering if I should do that as well, my only concern was how would that affect the makeup in terms of how well it wears and how long it last.
